Online Web Forms Service
"RefTracker Online
Web Forms" allows libraries that do not have RefTracker to utilise its Request
forms features on an adhoc basis for specific data collection purposes. There
is no software to purchase, or install, and there is no training required. Costs
are per form that you want to make available, and for the duration you want
to make it available - there are no ongoing costs or systems to manage. At the
end of the data collection period the data is provided to you in a form that
allows you to easily analyse it.
This service will be of
interest to those libraries and library related organisations that run fixed
length surveys or registration periods, but do not do them regularly enough
to invest in survey software or the services of survey consultants
Use
the RefTracker Web Forms Service for:
- Library usage surveys
- Specific library service satisfaction measurements such as reference responses
- New product or service evaluations such as online databse trials
- Registrations for specific events like "Meet the Author"
- Book club reading list suggestions, and lots more!
How
it works:
- You send us the layout of
the form you want to use for data collection.
- We create the electronic version of the form and give you a URL that you can
use to make it available (efg in your web pages, in an email, etc)
- Throughout the data colection period a record is automaticaly created for each
form sumitted
- At the end of the data collection period, or monthly, the collected data will
be provided to you in and Excel spread sheet or .csv compliant file, for your
analysis
